Too many "popcorn smilies"

There is an overabundance of popcorn smilies ( ) on threads these days. Popcorn smilies should be used sparingly!

The popcorn smily should only make an appearance in a thread with back-and-forth bickering between posters, and even then only one person should use it. If someone else got there first, too bad, save your popcorn smily for another thread.

If you must use the popcorn smily, please use this thread to get it out of your system.

Thank you.

Surely...

there are better ways to contribute to societal health than to editorialize on the frequency of the popcorn smiley.

Is this what have we come to?

Pay no attention to the person behind this thread. Go ahead and eat all the popcorn you want.

Hey! I posted this in Site Feedback - it's not like I put it in MINI Talk or something - anyone foolish enough to look at Site Feedback threads deserves this sort of thread!

Too much popcorn is bad for your health.
