for Sale Threads

Hello All,
I have a little suggestion that I posted in my frist thread but not too many people reading 1st gear so I'll post here.
I've been a member to many auto forums and I find it really easy to browse through a "for sale" section if there is a state code at the begining of each "for sale" thread. I noticed that NM does not utilize this "rule" and it's really hard to find a potential add without going through all of them. It's just a suggestion but it would be much easier if for sale threads had a title like this for example:
FS: IL, 2006 MCS, red, with 30k miles, great options etc.
It will be much easier to identify something that is in my state and may interest me.

just my .02

It's a good suggestion but the majority of the people on these forums are shipping whatever they're selling, so it's not that big of a deal. We're pretty spread apart, making people post ads so that only people from their states really look them would alienate a lot of owners and DRASTICALLY reduce the chance of selling the item they're trying to sell.

I understand, but I was looking to buy locally a used 05-06 MC browsing the For Sale section but didn't feel like opening every thread to find out where the car is. Labeling with state code would make it much easier. If you're selling parts it's not that important but when buying car, people prefer to have the ability to drive not too far to take a look.

as a rule, I generally do this but not for small items. I agree...it's required on most forums.

Thats a good idea about adding state codes for Cars for sale. I'll look into implementing it.
