Mach V Springs Installed - Before and After Photos
I had the Mach V springs put on yesterday at West End Alignment in Gardena (CA). It is a one man shop (Darrin, owner operator). He has worked on my Porsches and Audis in the past. For the install and alignment it was $350.
As listed, the springs lowered the Mini 1 1/4 inches. It is a much better look. As the Mini only had 100 miles on it when they were installed I can't tell you how it effected the ride.
The first photos are the ones before the tint and lowering and the second are with them;

Looks great and thank you for posting the pictures. I had mine put on yesterday. Immediately after installation the ride height looked like picture #3. Now after a day of driving around it looks more like #4. It DEFINITELY settled a little. The ride quality and handling is amazing though!

nice drop...
I was wondering if the rear control arms are still visible from the back? and is it worth it in the end? I really want to get some springs, maybe a full suspension but i live around ALOT of speed bumps and the drive to work is sort of bumpy to begin with. Would you suggest your application to a guy with an aggressive asphalt to deal with?
thanks

An other option is to find someone in your area with the lowered suspencion and see if it suits you. Good luck.

Mach V Springs - Sport, JCW then Mach V
The JCW springs lowered the car about 1/2 inch and improved handling dramatically. The Mach V lowered the car another inch and did the same - somewhat softer ride but steady in the corners and tracks better. You wouldn't think an inch is much, but it feels completely different to sit in the car. I recommend it strongly for looks and performance. Here are 3 photos sport, jcw then Mach V.
