I've hit 20k + miles, and I'm tired of the hard and bumpy runflats, so it's time for Zooty to get new tires. I was wondering if there was any place here in the Chattanooga area to buy & install decent tires of size 205/45/17. The closer to Red Bank the better, but I don't have a problem with driving. (why would i?)
Been doing pretty well, just keeping to myself. ;) I don't like the heat so I'm glad fall is coming around. We may be moving at the end of the year, probably to the Clarksville area; it's hard to say right now.
I think I will order Kumho Ecsta ASTs from tirerack. I was going to look into buying new wheels too, but I think with the unmerciful potholes around here I should stick with the stock wheels for now.
I may go up to Missouri and join the St Louis club on their fall rallye on the 14th, since it's taking place in a wee little town that I lived in when I was born. I think I can manage to join you on the 22nd and November 12th. I'll be sure to bring my camera, too, I love scenery.
Call up Reece Tire in Summerville, GA for a price quote. They only stock el Cheapo tires, but they can order anything you want and they're usually the cheapest place around this area.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I was thinking about a place not across state lines, heh. I went with Bavarian Auto, they seemed like a safe, reputable place, and indeed, I have no complaints about their service.
Just no TV in the waiting room! If I'd known that I would have brought a book and not tortured myself with 3 hours of looking at cooking magazines, lol.
