Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering if we could get together before the Dragon? See who is going, when, where everybody is staying....maybe coordinate a caravan up there...etc. See if anybody was interested in participating in an activity while there?
What about April 23? Does that sound like a good time? Maybe take a little drive and have dinner?
Let me know your views.

Great! We'll have lots to share! Does anybody have a favorite drive that they would like to show us? Craig....Len?? Ya'll are more familiar with the good roads. Got any ideas?
YES!! I was waiting to hear from Len about where to meet and times...I'll post and/or sent PM's as soon as I know. I'm really looking forward to it! Chris--I LOVE your sig!! Please...you must give me instructions on how you did that!! So nice.

I spent several hours creating the signature in Photoshop. It's still a work in progress! I'm no expert when it comes to graphic design, especially in Photoshop.
I'm ready to motor!!!

I'm familiar with the roads in northwest Georgia, particularly those on Lookout Mountain. If that's of interest for a drive, let me know.
Sounds like a good idea. I know few a pig trails too. We could make run through Mtn Cove Farm, mess around on Lookout, then go down Lookout Mtn Pkwy towards Mentone AL...
Sorry for failing to respond to this thread in a more timely fashion. As some of you know, I am a prosecutor and I am currently in the middle of a child molestation trial. I may also end up having a family conflict for this weekend, don't know for sure yet. Craig is probably the best source for a route. I am too tired to put much thought to it right now. I would think that the Mountain Cove area - Daugherty Gap, along with various routes that could include some climbs and descents up and down Lookout and Sand Mountains would be fun. Cloudland Canyon State Park is a neat place for a stop. Watching Hang Gliders off of Hwy 189 might also be a fun little short stop.
Larry's Restaraunt in Trenton, Georgia, is worthy of consideration if a dinner is part of the plan. Larry's is an all you can eat country buffet, and in my opinion, quite good. Larry's was recommended in a recent travel magazine.
I'll check back in later.
Len,
Sorry work has been so awful for you this week. I can imagine how something like that would be exhausting. I hope it ends very soon with good results.
As for those roads....I'm going to have to rely upon Craig's excellent knowledge of the back roads. I hope to hear from him soon.
If things clear up, I hope you can join us....it sounds like you could use a few RPM's and a twisty or two to clear out the cobwebs!!
Good luck.

OK...Here's the plan. We are going to meet at the Incline at 3:30. Then we will take a ride through the North Georgia Mountains and have dinner at Larry's in Trenton. There we can discuss everyone's plans for the Dragon. I hope everyone can come. It looks like a great day for Motoring!!
Did everyone see Herbert (Moskito) on Channel 3 tonight? He was in the piece about the Tour de Georgia bike race. It will probably be replayed at 11. Keep an eye out for him! Way to go!!
Sounds good; we'll be at the Incline at 3:30. If you are going to MOTD remember to bring any contact info (where staying, room or cabin #, tent site, etc). Is there cell phone coverage up there? There have been mixed reports on the MOTD06 list.
