We are going to pick up the banner this Sunday (Sept. 23) from the B'ham folks in Collinsville. AL. I am going to see if there is an interesting way to get there from here and hope that the weather is as glorious as it was last weekend!!
Anybody want to tag along??
Then on Thursday (Sept. 27) we are going to have a meeting at Sugar's Ribs (on the Ridge..next to King's Lodge...don't be scared...it's ok! They tore the hotel down that you could rent by the hour!!) at 6pm for the banner signing and collect any contributions to our local American Cancer Society. Please try to come!
OK.. We have the banner! I will be bringing it to the meeting on Thursday where everybody can sign it and we can move it on. Ya'll missed a great drive...maybe we can go that way again when more can go.
See y'all Thursday!!
Drillslinger, it's coming to East Tennessee to Smoky Mountain MINIs via a SMM member who works daily in Chattanooga. Then we are taking it to Middle Tennessee for The Minnie Challenge on October 13th. From there we need it to get to Memphis before October 20th. We're still working on that part of the path across Tennessee.
Thanks to everybody that came to the meeting and donated to the Komen Race for the Cure. I will post a total as soon as I get all the $$ in.
Will post some pictures too as soon as I get time to download them. It was great seeing everybody!!
