#198 Drivers
I am pleased to announce the following two drivers for the 3rd car.
Craig Conway and BJ Zacharias
Craig is a long time Grand Am racer who brings years of experience to the seat of the 198. This will be Craig's first drive in the Mini but he has extensive experience in the Rolex and Continental series. Craig was a former car owner in the Rolex GT class. Craig is from Edgewater, Florida.
BJ Zacharias returns to RSR as Craig's co-driver. BJ is also a long Grand Am veteran. BJ drove with us a number of times in '08 and 09. BJ is from Cincinnati, Ohio.
The entries are all in and there are 30 cars in the ST class, 65 total. It promises to be an exciting event.

I enjoyed watching you at Daytona. Although I'm not able to get down to Homestead for this race, I'm covering it on my website and will follow the results.

Miami/Homestead Friday update
P1 197 with VJ in the seat.
P3 198 (first outing this year) with BJ
p17 196 with Owen
The VJ, BJ thing is getting confusing . . . especially on the radios
This was the 1st outing for the 196. It has a replaced motor after Daytona and we are chasing a few items . . . like no ABS. It's getting up to speed and should run faster in the race.
Qualifying this afternoon at 5pm

I'm really confused ( which doesn't take a lot of doing )
But it seemed like that none of the GT cars got out for 3 or 4 laps then next minute I look Sarah has bagged No 1 spot with a 1.31.810 but only stayed out for 4 laps
It also looks like Randy qualified 27th and Craig 29th
Looks like I was right http://www.grand-am.com/schedule/ses...d=1501&sid=854
CONGRATULATIONS TO SARAH ON BAGGING THE NO1 SPOT
Same place tomorrow after 2.5 hrs please

Yep Sarah put the #197 RSR Mini on the POLE!!!!!
Which I think she qualified under the track record for ST at Homestead!
Quote:
34 197 ST 1 Cattaneo / Mirzayan RSR Motorsports / Mini Cooper S 1:31.810 90.186 Cruise
America, 4 Winds RV, Omni
That Revolution Mini Works power is getting it done boys!!
...and girls!
