...So a few months ago I was getting a few letters, and phone calls from Crown Mini of Richmond asking to buy my Mini. Has anyone been getting these letters? I'm guessing it is a marketing gimic to get me to buy a new Minior is there an issue with the 2004s that they're trying to buy back them so they can get them off the market? Thought I'd check with you guys and see what you thought.
Here is what the latest letter says.
We are looking to purchase ANY and ALL price range vehicles, however, we need 7 2004 Mini Cooper Ss because of an unusual number of customer request for this specific vehicle.
Our deadline is October 31st to locate these vehicles.
ACCORDING TO OUR RECORDS, YOU ARE ONE OF A HANDFUL OF INDIVIDUALS WHO CURRENTLY OWN A 2004 MINI COOPER S THAT IS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION! THIS VEHICLE IS IN ITS PEAK TRADE CYCLE. WE ARE WILLING TO MAKE YOU AN AGGRESSIVE OFFER FOR THIS VEHICLE. THERE IS NO PURCHASE NECESSARY!
it's just marketing to try and get you to buy a NEW MINI. I get them every month from one of 4 dealers and if any of them knew I had over 100K on it and the countless mods they'd stop trying to get me to trade it in. ;)
