2008 CLASSICS ON THE JAMES
FEATURING BRITISH AND EUROPEAN MARQUES
"The Tour of Europe Continues"

September 14, 2008
(The field display will be on Sunday, September 14)

The Central Virginia British Car Club announced "The Tour of Europe Continues" will be the theme for the 24th annual Richmond Classics on the James Car and Motorcycle Festival to be held at Browns Island, Richmond, Virginia on September 14, 2008 (9:30 AM – 3:30 PM).

Last year’s show was spectacular. Every year it just gets better. The Jaguar will be our featured marque this year. This show is one of Jaguar’s national points events, so we expect a dazzling display. We are excited that, once again, Ferrari will be well represented. Joining the Jaguar and Ferrari will be the best that Europe and Britian has to offer (such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porche, Maserati, Saab, Volvo, Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Pantera, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Bentley, Austin-Healey, Triumph, MG, Lotus, Mini, Morris, etc.).

The show combines the scenic location of the Browns Island on the James with the backdrop of the skyline of Richmond. Where else would you have the opportunity to view some 300 of the world’s most unusual and rare cars and motorcycles? Have fun with the family while enjoying food, prizes and the opportunity to view these fine classics ranging from vintage to modern. Learn their history and why ownership of these vehicles excites such pride.

Bring your family and friends and vote for your favorite. Admission is $5 for adults (children free); portion of proceeds going to the Sgt. Santa Foundation. To all you kids, Santa will be in attendance during the show and at day’s end will present awards to the winners.

For additional information, visit our website: www.classicsonthejames.com or call David 804-231-1964. This event is sponsored by the Central Virginia British Car Club.
