Picked up a 2016 Cooper S All4 this Saturday. So far I'm pleasantly surprised by the handling and the ride (after reading a number of reviews to the contrary).

Color is Cosmic Blue with Black HIDs and Piano Black exterior... it's pretty stealth, but just enough contrast between the blue and black to keep things interesting.

I'd like to add LED driving lights... but can't stomach the ~$1,400 the dealer quoted me. Has anyone DIY'd them (parts were $630)?

Anyway- thanks for all the info (I've been lurking for the last few weeks):

Thanks! I'm enjoying my ECS-sourced N55 mid-pipe!

Here are a few more pics of my 1 Series M Coupe and Countryman.

Wow, two nice super clean cars, a floor you can eat off of and just a generally super neat set up. Is the other part of the house as clean?

I'm not sure- I spend most of my time in the garage :p

Garage was unusually clean when I took these photos as I had given it a good reorganization to make room for the Countryman.

I am in the process of doing the retrofit kit right now and it is a huge pain the ***. I was gifted by a set by a friend who bought a front clip with them but did not want the hassle of installing them. You have to wire a loom inside the car and clamp wires onto a harness. ECS seems to have the best prices on a lot of stuff and were super helpful in finding parts. If you have any questions I would be happy to try and help you.

You will need the main kit:
https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2013-...ghts/ES172120/
(this can also be bought in white)

the interior panel:
https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2013-...hts/ES2584786/
(make sure it matches the interior color of your car)

and the grill and brackets:
https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2013-...hts/ES2543454/
(if you can find the brackets by themselves you just need to dremel out your grille to save money)

here are an extra set of instructions I found:

We have the LED driving light kit here as well or the regular retrofit kit here. Trim with the button for the lights here, and brackets with the grille here.
