R59 All done . . .

Yes, no more R59 Roadsters...yours might be one of the very last ones being made. Do you have a production date?
Not necessarily due to 2nd thoughts, but almost everyone plays around with the Configurator after their order is in to consider options, colors, wheels, and other items available, and we watch the build cost go up (and up and up)... ;-)
Enjoy the wait...it's worth it.

Sad day, very sad day . . .
Interestingly it's still available on some other international MINI websites. Maybe each market is on a different schedule based on how much they sale in those countries, maybe they are slower to respond to website updates, or maybe they have different sales tactics to keep the customer interested, idk...
And thanks Kenny, you made me feel better. Every time I hear of the roadster production end I felt sorry I didn't load it with more options . . . but thanks to you I'm reminded that we're quite happy behind the wheels with ours and we did spend the money we wanted if not a tad more so really don't have a tone of regrets on options. It's not that we could have put a whole lot more money and we still had our priority straight
In a way I feel we own a relatively rare car and since we plan on keeping it for a long time it will become even rarer
2018 will be around the corner to change my daily car so who knows!?

It's over. Today is the last day the production line of the R59.
I took delivery on 4/15/15 -- close enough.
