R58 Hatch adjustment on the Coupe?

Hatch adjustment on the Coupe?
So, several months ago I messed with my hatch thinking it was causing the noise (turned out to be a sway bar link). Now it is actually making noise
Anyone have a link to a procedure on how to adjust the rubber stops and latch? I have the Bentley service manual but of course the Coupe isn't in there at all anyway... Not sure that the procedure would match 'cause the Coupe's hatch is so much heavier.

The rubber stops just go in and out and twist thread. The latch can be adjusted under the rear panels.

Right under #1, #1 will have to come out to reach the latch.

I had the same problem about 18 months ago and the dealer lubricated the lock mechanism. It never came back.

I wouldn't mind reading about any maintenance for the spoiler, too. Mine shudders just a tiny bit when it moves; the last dealer service (over a year ago now) that I had it in for, they did something and it was smooth as silk again and quiet too.
I've done some looking in the meantime and it does seem like some folks back earlier on did replace their lock with some success (low rate, but not zero). Of course, that could be because they'd have to readjust the new lock anyway...
I've got some felt harness tape that I'm going to try first, then if that doesn't do it, I'll go through each mount point individually, probably this weekend.

My JCW Coupe is out of warranty now but the previous owner had this done and dealership told me what was done for a rattle in the back. They also used felt tape for the rear parcel deck.

No, just showing the latch and the eyelets on each side are the adjustments with the bolts. If he has warranty left I would have them do it first.

The parcel tray fits tight on mine. Where did you installed felt?
