Can someone decode these for me?

I posted this in the "general" subforum, but the thread was old so I thought I'd try here.

I need some help. I'm picking up a used 2013 Coupe S this weekend and I did the BMWVIN Search to see exactly what options were ordered by the original owner. I knew what most of the options were, but the items listed below are unclear to me. Since the Coupe is discontinued, I can't use the MINIUSA website "Build" feature to accurately see what was offered back then.

If anyone can give more detail about any of the following things, I'd appreciate it.

Upholstery STOFF CHECKERED/JCW CARBON BLACK (ATP9)
- are these good seats?

1CA SELECTION COP RELEVANT VEHICLES
What's COP?

3A1 JOHN COOPER WORKS AERODYNAMIC KIT
Edit: I now know this is the JCW front end, back end, and side skirts

313 EXTERIOR MIRROR PACKAGE
Is this the folding mirrors?

4C1 COLOUR LINE CARBON BLACK

6ND BLUETOOTH HANDS FREE INTERFACE
Is this "MINI Connect" or something else?

7HN JOHN COOPER WORKS PACKAGE
Interior?

8SP COP CONTROL

4AU ADDITIONAL DECOR RINGS
Which ones?

4CU INTERIOR WORLD CARBON BLACK
"Interior World"?

481 SPORT SEATS F DRIVER/FRONT PASSENGER
Wasn't this covered by the UPHOLSTERY item above?

493 STORAGE COMPARTMENT PACKAGE
Is this the hidden dash compartment or something else?

563 LIGHTS PACKAGE
No idea.

6FC RADIO MINI BOOST CD
645 RADIO CONTROL US
736 SECOND RADIO REMOTE CONTROL KEY
Ignition key, or something else?

823 HOT CLIMATE VERSION
What's that?

845 ACOUSTIC BELT WARNING
Is this an "Acoustic belt" warning, or an acoustic "belt warning"?

876 RADIO FREQUENCY 315 MHZ
Is this for the keys?

9AA EXTERNAL SKIN PROTECTION
SPF 50?

Thanks!

Looks like it has the JCW package which is the body kit, and interior trim including the upholstery listed. The sport seats refer to the side bolstering feature vs the "standard seats". You get Sport Seats with the JCW package. The Bluetooth just means you can connect your phone, not Mini Connected which is a bigger center screen shows album art and stuff. I think the storage compartment package is in the boot, it's an option you can get from the dealer. Every Mini has the "secret compartment". I think the Radio Mini Boost CD is the standard stereo. The upgrade is HK (Harmon Kardon). See if you have tweeters in the A pillars, if not it's standard. I think color line refers to the color of the door armrests and dash inserts. The padded parts. Not sure about "external skin protection", reminds me of dealer installed "clear bra" stuff to protect against rock dings but don't quote me on that. Pretty sure the 2nd Radio remote key just says you got 2 key fobs. You said you got that unusual dark blue color which is cool. Are there contrasting stripes on the hood and top too?

+1 big newt , the COP is standard for the US , like a shipping feature.
313 : electric heated folding mirrors
"external skin protection" that's for shipping also.
876 RADIO FREQUENCY 315 MHZ , for the keys US
845 ACOUSTIC BELT WARNING standard US
823 HOT CLIMATE VERSION US, standard intake and air filter ( no pre filter) , not extra insulation on battery

6FC RADIO MINI BOOST CD Regular CD player / radio, standard
645 RADIO CONTROL US
736 SECOND RADIO REMOTE CONTROL KEY Extra key standard on US

563 LIGHTS PACKAGE
Interior leds standard

493 STORAGE COMPARTMENT PACKAGE " secret glove box "

4CU INTERIOR WORLD CARBON BLACK Color on interior

4AU ADDITIONAL DECOR RINGS trim rings and color, not stock

4C1 COLOUR LINE CARBON BLACK " need pads trim and door card inner in black.

Upholstery STOFF CHECKERED/JCW CARBON BLACK (ATP9) Nicest cloth seats, i like them in red stitch.

Thank you both very much!

Yes it looks like black stripes on the hood and hatch, though they're barely visible against the dark blue in the pictures (which I like - subtle). The stripes on the roof look a bit lighter, but the roof is black so I don't know exactly what color stripes they put on it:

Of course it will look completely different when I actually see it in person.

You are welcome.

I like it with the dual stripes , i am glad this was a thing with the R58's . I really like your dual stripes. Sets it off.

I have them also, but the hood and boot where customs white to match the custom white top. I am the only person I believe that has a white top R58 painted. White was never offered. I wish they offered that. It was on the R56 offer.

BTW , I think you did very well on the R58 search. Its a keeper. I would have picked that one also.

I dig the subtle stripe look as well. Looks like a good find! Would love to see more pictures.

I am curious....... from the picture, your front end seems camber and toe out.

You seem to have done some mods if I am right. How does it handle on daily driving from stock set-up?

Those are the ECS 15mm wheel spacers on stock suspension .

https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2012-...heels/Spacers/

Handles a bit better , you can feel the little wider stance.

What's this about extra insulation on the battery? You wouldn't happen to have a part number to retrofit that, would you?

This must be hard on the wheel bearings and tire wear. Have you done the same at the rear end?

It is interesting you asked because the battery is so small, it certainly needs protection not to freeze in cold climate.

I even experienced slow cranking at about 28 degrees.

But, what bugs me the most is the voltage fluctuation to the power accessories under normal load. The dealer told me it is the way the car is engineered and the reason why they just need a small battery.

Go figure what make sense.

Yes,

No issue with the wheel bearings or tire wear had them on my r52 for years , just had to replace a bad wheel bearing at 256 K . The bearings go bad due to water and crud getting into the seal on the back side that is exposed near the abs sensor and the rusts lifts the plastic seal up a bit which is for protection.
Just make sure you are in alignment before hand. Tire don't last long on MINI anyway, I am lucky to get 15-20k on a set of tires and that was way before i installed wheel spacers. Still get about 15-20k. Do a track day and it tears them up faster.

I have the same set up in the rear on the r58 with the spacers, square all the way around.
