JCW Coupe front bumper protection......

.....well, I am wondering what is the best "shield" to protect the front bumper from road chips.

I heard of water based coating you can peel off every time you wash your car. Any comments?

Thanks for the reply and pictures.

The problem with a bra is always you see it unless a complete body panel is covered.

I had similar high quality products before and they look good for about 3-5 years depending of climatic conditions. After this time period, they fade and need to be replaced. When removed, you don't have the choice but to install another one because there is a big difference between what has been under the bra and the other aging surfaces no matter you wax your car on a regular basis...... and for me, black and burgundy metallic paint jobs have been my worst experience.

Since I am interested only for the bumper, it may be an option.

They make a clear Plasti-Dip for this. 3M, Plasi-Dip, and others... Spray on till you want to peel it off and respray when ever needed... or the Expel stuff above is about your only option other then the old fashioned black leather/cloth clip on bra of days gone by...

Thanks for the link to the clear spray product.

I am just looking to protect the lower section of the front bumper from time to time and it seems to be the best product for my need.
