Traded in R56 for R57

Just traded wife's 2011 hardtop for a 2012 CPO convertible S .

It's chili red xenon , HK , heated seats . That's all I can think of, pick it up next week as it needs detailed and a new windshield, and a tail light , both are chipped. Has 36k.
I just went nuts putting xenon in her R56 now she gets one with factory. Has run flats so those will need replaced as neither one of us like them. Moving JB + over to it. Also moving hid fogs over.
We traded her Miata in for the R56 a year ago and she missed her rag top. So now she has one again.
So happy wife is a good thing.

Congrats !!!!!
I love my R57 and put the top down whenever I can. That's not too often in Ohio but I try.

Like they say......Happy wife.....happy life. Very true.

Just got the wife one as well
She loves it and has always wanted a ragtop but never seemed to bite the bullet for practicality sake.
I get the van :( but on weekend mornings before everyone is up in our household I take it out for a wicked rip!
What a great compromise. Performance for me and the convertible feature for her.
Cannot wait til we take it up the Sea to Sky Hwy. The weather is to crappy right now for it.

We need pics, and congrats. Going from a R56 to R57 is a change , but top down motoring is so much fun.

First season of convertibling in the books. Had to take it in a couple times for some knick knacks:
1) Burned out lights
2) Thermostat
3) Door strikes rattling
4) Replaced top
All of this was under warranty as we bought a certified mini. Never knew there was even an option. You get a car that you can check the history on, you don't pay a premium for NEW, you get a comprehensive 2 year warranty. Next car we buy is gonna be under the same conditions. Oh yeah and the Mini is so fun to drive in traffic and on the curves. So happy with our purchase.

Not implying it is a bad choice, but you do pay more for the car as CPO than one that isn't. Or am I missing a free giveaway?

That's t he beauty of it... the price was great with or without the cpo.
Almost every option
The car after about 6 months has been awesome
Also keep in mind the roof replacement was at their suggestion and free. It was in very good condition for a 2010.
