Squeaking noise while putting the top up

I have been getting a squeaking noise while pulling the top up for the last few weeks. Took it to the dealership last Saturday, they supposedly lubed the joints etc. But noise is back this morning !

Anyone else with the same problem and had a solution ?

Yup. I've had this problem for the past two months. Dealer did lube my top (I watched them), but it keeps coming back. I've decided it's one of the quarks of the Convertible. I might spray some WD40 at some time in the future, but for now, I'm accepting it as "normal"

If it is simply a quirk, I have no problems and I can live with it. Just wanted to make sure it isn't a portent of some kind of mechanical failure of the top opening/closing rig.

Will try WD40 sometime as well.

Yep - I definitely hear the squeak (sometimes, not always) when putting the top up. It will be something to mention to the dealer at some point, but from other replies, it doesn't sound like dealer attention resulted in much...
