Went to order a 2009, but had to order a 2010

So I went to Mini of San Antonio Saturday morning to order my 09. They told me all the 09's were built out. My build will not start till mid Sept.
Anyone else order a 2010 yet.
I'm gonna have to wait about 16 weeks minimum for the new car.

I should mention....

MFSW is now standard.
Harmon Kardon is the 10 speaker HI-FI again...price increase to $750

If you were getting these two options anyway it's a wash.

Anyone know the base MSRP for the S model for the 2010. My dealer did not yet have that info.

For Model Year 2009, the base price was:

Mini Convertible Price was: $24,550
Mini Convertible S Price was: $27,450
Mini Convertible JCW Price was: $34,950

I'm going to guess that the 2010 lineup, will be a bit higher, but not more than $2K.

If you have even a thought of owning a complicated telephone or you know you are getting a smartphone like the iphone etc..., get the smartphone option. You will be glad you did.

colors

Dealer stated all colors were the same for 2010. But then again...they didn't know the prices yet.

I chose the Carbon Fiber Cloth seats since I didn't want leather. Anyone else have that and how's it holding up?

I just talked to me dealer in Virginia Beach and they tell me as long as they are able to use another dealer's allocation you can still order a 2009.
I am about to order a Mellow Yellow JCW and was panicking when I read your thread, but I am assured it won't be an issue.

Now if I can just talk them into giving me the upgraded and improved HK stereo instead of the 2009 version...

I must be missing something here.
Why would you - at the end of the model year - want to order a 2009 when you could order a 2010? Typically, Minis aren't discounted and you would have a year old model on day one???

Help me out here.

Here's the link:

http://www.motoringfile.com/2009/06/...mellow-yellow/

I guess if he wants a Mellow Yellow 2009 would be the last year if Gabe is right. On the plus side, it looks like it'll be replaced by a "white silver".

Well, if he wants Mellow Yellow, it is not available even on the 2009 Convertible. I don't see any news in your link about the convertible Interchange Yellow being discontinued for 2010.

That's true... but cwerddmo did say he's about to order a MY JCW, forgot that the verts have Interchange Yellow instead.

Gabe noted in one of the comments sections about possibly that nifty non-metalic British Racing Green becoming available. Between the loss of the LSD, the gain of the HK radio and possibly a few color changes I wonder what they're planning on holding back for the mid-cycle refresh?

I don't think they'll offer 0.9% financing on '010s. I got $1250 off MSRP for an ordered '09 I received 2 weeks ago so yes they are discounting at the end of the year. I don't know if they will discontinue the low financing or discounts when the '010s come in.
