It's a long story so I won't go into details but I didn't order the Sirius option on my new MCS. But I do have a portable Sirius unit that can be used in the house or car. On my '05 I got very good reception with very little interference. That isn't the case with my new one.
I know there is an aux jack or USB port on this car, I haven't looked closely enough to see for certain. Can I use a cable to run from the Sirius to this port as a direct connection? Per Sirius this should eliminate the interference I am currently receiving. The Mini book only says some devices will work and others won't.
The Aux Jack takes a mini stereo plug and should be found above forward end of center console.
I use an XM-Radio "SkyFi" from Delphi, but your Sirius should be similar. The sound quality is excellent and you need to set default Aux volume and tone etc. for each key/fob in the Aux selection of your HiFi system menu.
Also found a factory Satellite Radio Antenna cable under passenger seat to supply signal, search in Navigation & Audio Board for many threads on this subject. (Here is one.)

Navigation & Audio Board, now why didn't I look there?
Thanks for the info and link, now if this blond can figure out all the terms they use I'll have a much happier commute.
BTW, I like the seat covers you have linked in your sig. I'll have to check them out a little further.
