Convertible top folded for weeks ?

Does anyone with the previous version have experience about how long the top can be left folded ? I have a garage at work and at home so in summer the top can be left open for weeks. Is this ok ? The manual only explains a wet top can be left folded for 12 hours.

Wouldn't the part of the top that is visible when it's down fade over time? I think that's the "sunroof" part that slides back, right?

Beyond that, I noticed a lot of road dust in my top after it's been down for a few days. I guess the dust of the road gets in the folded section of the top.

I sometimes use a lint brush to get all the crap off the top that won't come off otherwise.
