I have to say the MINI display was very cool.
Convertible pics show the visibility issue, top up and new design top. See interior pic.
Compaired to my r52 their seems mre room on the inside even though its the same.
More to come....
The New MINI convertible was nice in interchange yellow, most people think from pics it was ok. I think it goes well with the seats. The liquid yellow is very close to interchange but more mute.
Hot choco seats and top look very nice and in the Blue/HC/HC combo looks great.
See the pics of the roll bars and structure bars which run under the pop up roll bars with rear seat pushed forward.
The MINI E was very nice.
One note is the tires, they have yellowed white walls. Well since Michelin does not make those the tires are pilots that have been modified, which they were scraped and then dyed yellow to create the white wall look.
I ask the rep from Michelin and he did not know of this?
Is that new guage good for anything except keeping track of how much time the top is down? If so that's a pretty serious statement on Mini's part as to which group they're targeting for this new cabrio model.

My camera battery was almost dead and their was so many people around the MINI that I could not get a good shot.
The one thing that did change is the Mic for the Handfree and GPS which is now on the steering wheel due to the outside noise with the top down. On my MINI with the Factory handfree full bluetooth kit the mic is up near the interior lights which still picks up well but maybe at high speed not so well.
The Top o Meter or open O meter is attached to the stack. I guess you cannot put anything on the other side due to the Mic.
The deck has changed which I saw among the toggels in the center stack above.
I thought their would be more lighting like the r56 , but it was not dark so we will see.
Their is no room on the r57 for a mic up top that I saw.
One pic I will post is the cnter arem rest now has two cables, unlike one with the blutooth phone console so maybe Viston( supplier) has added something new, more phone friendly.
The top has changed as well as the function, look close on video and you will see. (hint)
