mine is supposedly the 2nd (on the road) in the whole state of Louisiana... There is one other one and it has a white top, so sayeth my MA...

Very Retro Color. I might go for it instead of the Pepper White.

Really love this color - this is what I would pick if I had a R56

Back in '02-'03 I wasn't sure how I felt about standing out...there weren't that many MINIs around and especially after The Italian Job came out, yeah, people pointed and gawked...just driving a MINI at all was standing out!! So I went with a more conservative and traditional look for my MINI and I've enjoyed the heck out of it!! Now, however, I wanted something a bit more cheeky, fun, but still traditional...you know, with a color I'd grown accustomed to seeing on classic Minis. Oxygen Blue is perfect...and I think it will stand out in a crowd. I consider it very fortunate that this color (once rumored to not be available in the U.S. market) has become a color option for us. That it is a Cooper-only color is even more yummy!!!

It's amazing how light the oxygen blue looks in those pictures. Mine never looks that light, even in the sun. I'm thinking it's the camera exposure.

I think The Oxygen Blue is hard to capture the true color over the internet and on a computer screen. I have a few pics and they all look a little different from each other. It is a very uniqure color and that is why I went for it.

I actually had a 1957 VW that had a very similar color, I think there is a slight grey tone in the blue paint.

My dealer has a Oxy Blue sitting on the floor right now with a JCW Aero Kit on it, and lemme tell ya, it is SA-WEET. I went with lightning blue, but it's a great color. Black room w/Aero kit on the S looks very, very sharp.

My husband took these pics for me today from his blackberry when he went in to do pre-work/old-car appraisal, etc. I haven't seen it in person yet. I can't wait.

We got ours!!!

We ordered ours on Mar 17 and picked it up last week. It's my wife's car and she LOVES it - she keeps telling me that!! First thing I did was to replace that long antenna!

The dealer in town have just been getting the 07s in and told us it's the *first* Mini in OB they've sold!

Can I be an honorary member of the Oxygen Blue Owners club?

I really love the color, think it looks awesome and a bit retro! If I could get another MINI to keep my AB/W company, it would absolutely be O2 Blue!! Congrats to all you new owners and future owners, and keep those piccies comin'!

Speaking for myself I don't see why not!!!

I also hearby wish to humbly appeal to the Grand Minister of Whining (Skuzzy), begging recognition for my whining efforts over the last two years due to the fact that Electric Blue was not made available for Coopers in the U.S. as it was elsewhere. Yes, I even survived the taunts/torture of Paul Mullet himself posting his yummy EB/W Cooper pics. I whined here...I whined on MINI2...I even whined on MotoringFile. Alas, someone at MINI/BMW heard my supplication and, in an act of pure love...when all seemed lost (rumors that OB would not come to the U.S.)...granted us the sublime gift of Oxygen Blue for R56 Coopers. I know I am the cause (I must be) of this gesture of largess, thereby providing proof that whining is not futile but is a vehicle for creating a better...or at least more colorful...world.

Me Mini

I'd like you all to see our new OB/B MC. We got it last night after ordering it about five weeks ago. I slept in it (OK not really). As an unbiased observer oxygen blue is perfect.

I'm loving this color. I like both black and white roof, but I do love the the white roof with white bonnet stripes. I saw one with a white roof at my dealer last time I was there. Kudos to Mini for offering such a color. These cars look great . . . I must have one tooo! help me!

I have yet to see one, save for the pics the nice people here have shared. I tell ya it's the only thing keeping me sane (well, sorta) as I await my own OB/W.
