Pretty cheesy if you ask me...

The new yellow is growing on me! I liked the liquid yellow, like my old Cooper. The more I see the new one the more interesting it gets!

My MINI as a mage sees it...

A mage with infravision that is...

Sorry to take up so much bandwidth, but since I jus figured out how to get images to display, I've been going nuts. These photos were taken by a friend with a camera that has an infrared filter. So, what you are seeing is the heat reflecting off everything, the car, trees, sky, ground. I think they look cool.

Cool? If I understand correctly, what these pictures are showing is: Your MINI is hot!

Either way, nice.

Actually, they show the MINI as being Cool.

The trees and grass are hot. The hotter, the lighter the color.

Thanks. Only thing I would have done different is get the white dash and door bits. They would have matched the piping on the lounge seats, which are more of a "cream" in person. I thought (for $300) I would have also got the oval ring on the door in brushed aluminum. I think I should have stuck with piano black.

07 MCS Sparkling Silver Arrived today - Pics

Sparkling Silver with Leather Lounge Carbon Black. I had to do a national search to find this combination w/ the options we were seeking. There was only one available in the country and it finally arrived today. It came from Nick Alexander Mini in SoCal. Pics below:

Sweet Karl! Looks pro.
Did you end up painting the aero kit yourself?

Wish I could do it on my own - would save a small fortune.

The more I look at the R56, the more I LOVE it and think it is far superior to the previous generation. Whenever I compare them side by side, the R53 just seems....lacking. Don't know how to describe it. Can't wait till mine comes!

That's a pretty strong opinion for somebody with only a few posts. Let's just say that the R56 is a fine car that owes much to it's forbearers. Some of us still find the R53 the superior design when taken as a whole. That said, we should all be able to agree that they are great to motor in. To each his own.

What does post count have to do with a person's opinion with the looks of a car?

I'm sorry I offended you with my opinion. I never said the R53 was a bad car in any way! In fact, it was the older generation of Mini that attracted me to the car in the first place. I just happen to like the R56 better.

P.S.- I'll try to get more posts logged so that my opinion will count for more
