Hmm? Really? Nothing says "aggressive" like "Hey, can I get a tow?" Lol.

I'm just ribbing you a little, but I'd have seriously never guessed that people would leave them out on purpose.

Haha yeah I thought about that too at first but once I painted it and put it on I really enjoyed what it added to the front. You should try it just take the one out of your emergency kit in the boot and put it on or paint it a color you like and put it on...you can always take it off if you done like it

Also the other thing I found that it's great for is deterring people from parking to close (to the front that is) for fear of a big hole in their car sometimes that makes me want to put one in the rear as well haha

The genesis of the tow hook is that race cars are required to have them on the car during races. Having one on your Mini alludes to a racer mentality. That is where the "aggressive" comments come from.

aznqtboy984,
I have an 08 PW/B MSC that with the same rims and i just added the bonnet strips. If you would, post another pic with the whole car in the picture and the front driving lights.
Did you add the driving lights or did the car come with them?
Car looks great! Great color choice!

Ha! Who would've thunk it. Jayhawk's explanation makes some sense, though. I may just have to try that, checker. Like you said, if I don't like it, I can always take it off.

Sweet pics everyone!!! Love the youification. Recognize, even with MINI owners who don't do much in the way of modding each still looks unique.

I really want to get the all black tow hook for my rear bumper (euro-plate in the front). IMO in combination with the "Pull to inflate" decal it is absolutely hilarious! Also I have to parallel park pretty much everyday, so hopefully it'll keep my bumpers pristine just a little bit longer.

Or put it in the front with a decal that says "Pull to eject parachute" ;)

ok, not the greatest pic

DISCLAIMER: YES, I KNOW THE CAR IS DIRTY (MY APOLOGIES) PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE BORING CAR BEHIND THE MINI

Its been a while, and my MINI has evolved a bit. I promise I'll get a better pic once the weather improves enough to wash it.

good idea there, I'm always checking the car when I get out of work, just waiting for some thoughtless oaf to smack one of my bumpers. The fancy tow-hooks would likely go missing.

Doesn't that risk having the frame bent with just a bumper tap from a large car?

They look like the stock option bridge spoke 16" but painted black

Did you paint these yourself? Powdercoat or just rattle can?
