Not lovin' it

It appears that the lights are angled differently and maybe even smaller, the fender-flares are more "flush" to the body and it is even more squared off (is that possible? )

I hope the pictures don't do it justice, which is often the case

I can't wait to see side-by-side comparisons of old and new.

Tow hook comes out of the bumper now. Looks like the nice little rounded hump in the middle of the hood has been flattened out quite a bit.

Still a nice looking car, but I don't think I like it better.

This looks like it is a Cooper with an S intake. Maybe all 07 MINI's will have the intake. Also looks like they are getting away from the chrome grill, if this is a Cooper. Notice the side repeater lights are amber and there is no S emblem. Also the bumper is not body color. Looks like they may be continuing the black up higher.

It is an MCS, the R56 MC will not have a scoop.

Definitely a cheapened look with the rubber-colored bumper. Looks like the real goal was to reduce the cost.

I don't care for the new bumper either. I don't mind the other changes so much.

It's not in full production yet. That bumper cover pretty obviously hasn't been painted yet.

I like it, the decision maker for me will be the interior but as of right now I can see myself ordering one once they work out those first year bugs

It looks like a MINI to me.

If it drives like one, then I won't have any complaints when/if I ever need to replace my 2003 MCS

Geeeeeeee

The ride height in back is most likely due to the fact that the car is breaking. Keep in mind It's still in the development phase and it may not be 100%, and more like 90-95% to what the '07 will look like. Good photoshop on htat spy shot. www.worldcarfans.com has more spy-shots of the "new" MINI, but this is the best one by far. As for the looks, I think that in time we'll get used to it. After all, it's not too dramatic. Take for example when Ford changes the Mustang......that is dramatic!!!!

Oh, it's not bad. After seeing this picture, the deciding factor for me will be the interior and the price. Put some hood stripes on it and maybe a different color.

I love seeing people critize and bash a spy shot of a car. It's a freeking spy shot. This means not 100%, do you honestly think they will sell the car with a plastic unpainted front bumper? Get real and get over yourself.

I have a feeling there will be resentment from the "new" mini owners just like how the classic mini owners have a grudge against the "new" mini owners.

I am okay with it. The turn signal is incorporated in the headlight like the Neon. The wheel arches have a crease like the New Beetle fenders this year. I never liked the skinny detached segment of grill in the bumper, this is truer to the classic grill, and the mesh makes me think of the aftermarket grills.

I like the grill, I like the front bumper (painted, of course), however, I'm not wild about the headlights (look like bug eyes from this angle) and how the rear end looks squared off.
