R56 Shimmy/Vibration above 65 mph

Hello everyone, looking for a bit of advice here. I have a 12' MCS with after market Sparco pro Corsa wheels and hankook noble all seasons.

I have been noticing a strange feeling from the rear left wheel when accelerating above 65 mph.

There is also a very strange vibration from the wheel and it feels as though the car is shimmying slightly (very unnerving).

Any idea what that could be?

Any advice would be appreciated!

How do you know it is coming from the left rear? Strange vibration coming from the wheel almost indicates steering wheel. Is the vibration from the steering wheel? I would check balance on all 4 wheel/tire assemblies. Maybe rotate front to rear, same side.

I feel something weird when doing pulls above 70 mph (specifically on the left rear wheel). It also pushes left and right very slowly while the steering wheel is straight. There is a small bit of vibration on the wheel but nothing too crazy

Is the pavement grooved where you're feeling this? I have driven or ridden in several cars that would "tramline" quite a bit on grooved roads. Sometimes it has to do with the suspension geometry, sometimes the alignment, sometimes the tires! I just put up with it.

I've had a similiar issue, though only when i take my foot OFF the accelarator...no evidence of shimmy until 60mph and I take my foot off the gas. I'm enroute to get my wheels balanced but suspect this will not address the issue. I fear an axle prob.

Well I just got back from my mechanic a few days ago. Turns out I bought garbage wheels...All 4 were bent! Look like I need to re think my wheel and tire set up!
