Wheel spacers

Hey everybody Am just about to order a set of Megan racing coil overs with the camber plates or would the st coil overs be better I was going to get max but I saw a lot of bad reviews as the car is my daily for now but they would be for my 2007 Mini Cooper s I have a set of 16x7 et40 Konig lighting wheels
I was wondering if I would need any wheel spacers cause I plan on go as low as I can and what size I would if I needed them am kinda new to the whole stanced thing and I know I need to buy rear adjustable control arms for the rear camber

I prefer ST coils here over Megan racing. ST is manufactured by KW so the product is really great quality and is the best bang for your buck. You would need to fit the wheels up when your ride height and see if you get any rubbing/contact once you have the suspension installed and set at the ride height you're wanting. We have spacers here if needed. If you're wanting more camber out of the rear, the Hotchkis adjustable rear control arms are a great investment. Very good quality product. Do you plan to DIY all of this or have a shop do the install? If a shop does it they should be able to inspect and let you know what size spacers you will need.

I already order the Megan's for way motor works due to the fact they come with camber plates I was planning on using those rear control arms and am planning on during it all myself the. To a shop for alignment but how can you tell what size spacer you need my goal is to but low with barely any wheel gap and to have the wheel sit flush with the fender or poke out alittle

Camber plates are a great idea as well. When I had to see what size spacer I needed to clear my rear coils with my wider set of wheels, it was an eye ball type of situation. I knew I only really needed a small amount of clearance when I did a mock up in the garage. So I bought 5mm spacers for the rear and just balanced it out and used 5 up front as well. It's hard to tell because with the wheel/tire combo you use, it's almost different for everyone. I suggest mocking it up once you install the suspension and get the wheels mounted with tires. That way you can look at it and see how much room you're needing for clearance.
