new owner wheel help please

Hi I'm a new owner of a 2011 mini cooper s. It has stock suspension. Now I'm sure what I'm gonna ask has been asked a million times over. I bought some ruff racing wheels 17x8 with 35 offset. Now the place I bought them from said they will fit fine with 215 45 17 tires. Now I placed rim on back of car to test fitment it looks like it fits fine but looks like it might stick out too far and look stupid but can't tell without having a tire mounted on it and on the ground. Is anyone running this wheel size and offset if so could you post some pics. I don't wanna mount tires on these wheels and find out it looks stupid. Any advice is much appreciated.

I have O.Z. 17x7 with a ET of 37. Plus I'm dropped on Ohlins. I'm pretty flush with -2 camber. So I would think you would stick out unless running a lot of negative camber.

They should fit. Its just that they'll probably look silly at stock height with no negative camber. Its known as "mexiflush"
