09 mini cooper non S weird revs while acceleration
Hi guys today I noticed my car acting strange, it's a 09 mini cooper non S about to hit 100k mile.. while I'm accelerating at 3k rpm the car revs from 3k rpm to about 4k rpm fast but not really accelerating just a quick rev then goes back to 3k... kind like it's slipping .. I'm sorry if this is unclear, just a little hard to try and explain. . Oh and it's a manual transmission, and it only does this once in awhile.

Thanks for the mention AZdsrt.
If you need the clutch and flywheel they are here:
http://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2009-Cooper-R56-Base-Coupe-L4_1.6L_N12B16A/Drivetrain/Clutch/
Recommend the Guide Tube and the shaft seal behind it be replaced also. The guide tube can get worn and then the clutch release baring will not side right on it.
Also the single mass flywheel can be resurfaced if you can get a shop to do it correctly. Have it resurfaced or replaced new before you install the new clutch kit.

Dang it, my problem now is I'm leaving germany the 25th of this month.. so my car Will be on a boat from the 25th of march to the first week of June not being used. I went to base auto shop and they said they can't do it there, so I would have to do the labor through the economy which is in euro not US dollar. . I priced the clutch kit so far and it's cheaper then ecs, I'm assuming since I'm in germany. . My question is should I do it here or wait till I get my car in June ? As long as I don't drive hard and drive normal it doesn't slip at all..
