Need help/suggestions.

I have a 2007 MCS that is in limp mode. There aren't any codes that are coming up. Also, I have little to no boost. Not sure on what I should check to solve this problem.

Check your diverter valve and see if the diaphragm is torn, that is a somewhat common issue with some older R56's. It'll be hard to tell whats going on without codes.

If it's going into limp mode, there should be a code. Probably one that a regular code reader can't read. I'd head to a good independent that has a BMW code reader.

Check your turbo hoses, specifically the hot and cold tubes. Make sure one end didn't pop off the connection. That has happened to me in the past and the car reacts the same way.

Thank you all, I will look in to the piping and diverter valve. Hopefully it's something simple. I will give an update as soon as I figure out the problem. Thanks again.

There are codes that most of the generic code readers can't see. You may need to get a BMW- or MINI-specific reader, or drop by a BMW or MINI specialist mechanic, to read the codes.

The local shop has had my car for two weeks and still can't figure out what is wrong. They have found a few small leaks while doing a smoke pressure test and fixed but it still didn't fix the problem. I will update when they figure out the problem.

Finally my MINI is fixed. It was my waste gate that was causing the problem. Now I can enjoy driving again.
