R56 Engine Bay Mystery Valves?

Engine Bay Mystery Valves?
What are these two valve cap things on my 2007 MCS? I have searched for ages but can't figure out what they are. If you unscrew the black caps, there appears to be some sort of valve inside the tube.
I traced a low RPM rattling to the #1 rubbing on the underside of my hood. It is just freely waving around - is there supposed to be some sort of tether or bracket that holds it in place? It has actually worn off a section of the paint where it has been rubbing.
Thanks.
Alan

Those are the high and low port for charging for the A/C system. Dont, push in the valve they are pressurized with R134a gas and used as part of the A/C ssystem. Just make sure there are caps on there and on tight.

There are the plastic mounts that hold these in place, they sometimes break.

Its might not be clicked in right, there is a little notch on the metal line where the plastic snaps around. They sometimes are not snapped in all the way, or to low on the neck. Check it, might be an easy fix.
