Where do you keep your spare tire?
Hi,
I just (finally) ditched the runflats for Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. The car feels incredible.
Now, I'm looking into various options in case I get a flat tire (besides Mini Roadside Assistance).
1) Slime kit + compressor
2) Tire plug kit + compressor
3) Spare tire (probably for long trips) + compressor
I'm thinking 2 and 3. That is, a tire plug kit, compressor, and buy a spare tire for long trips.
For those MCS owners who have a spare tire, where do you put it? Also, how do you secure it? I'm a bit concerned that in the event of an accident, the spare will just go flying around inside the car.
Your advice is much appreciated!

I have a full spare silver steelie in 16x5 wrapped in 195/55-16 non-directional tire that fits snugly at the boot with the back seat up. The tires kit is placed neatly at the left side of the boot. I use a tire sealant by Slime that comes with an air compressor. Incidentally, I have the wheel/tire for sale... if you want to look at it, just to a search on the classified ad. Thanks - jg
