The revised scoops wont melt anymore. I went through a couple on my '09 but the scoop on my '10 is different. The air through the grill is for the radiator and IC, the turbo vents heat straight up when stopped and eventually parked.

But I will no longer digress and further threadjack this Goodwood thread...back on topic.

Its good to hear they now have a non-melt version.

I do like the cleaner look of the non-scoop bonnet but I also like the look of my JCW Clubman with the scoop.

The Goodwood does confuse some people without the scoop they ask if its a Cooper... Lots of people still think it is a functional scoop.

If anybody want a GoodWood they are still out there brand new and still discounted. You could probably get more off then just the $12k they are offering as it is 2 years old now and unsold.

I have been out doing the Mini thing today. The Goodwood got Best in Show (BMW-MINI) at the 2013 Mini Muster here in Brisbane. That's 2 years in a row now Karen is pretty happy.

Well done Ian! Congratulations!
Just had ours in for its annual detail and it sure turns heads when the sun catches the paint.
My wife is still so pleased with it as her DD, and runabout, she has a smile a mile wide on when she's out and about!

Congrats.

That RR diamond black paint looks very nice up close. Do you have a pic in the sunlight? Only seen a couple in the Reef Blue version.

Happened to come across two used Goodwoods showing up on cars.com. Interesting that they're asking more for used cars with almost 6,000 miles than it seems some paid for their cars new just a short time ago. The prices are listed as $42,995 and $41,995. Both cars are at South Bay MINI.

No affiliation - just a fellow MINI-ac.

I have seen a couple for sale in Australia the Advertised price is close to the retail price. Its hard to say where their value will go.

Great,
Did you get a picture of the Goodwood in HK with the JCW stuff installed. Would love to see that.

Here is one in Reef Blue with JCW upgrades and a stick.

No I did not have camera handy with me at that time. The car was being "detailed" wash and I notice the twin JCW tailpipe. Next time I will bring the camera with me since my office is not that far from the car wash center.

Just joking. Get a close up of the paint in the sunlight if you can. Looks really good in my opinion.

It's okay

Will do. I did notice from a distance (about 5 ft away) the black paint looks very different and really nice compared to the nearby Cayenne.

There were a few Reef Blue cars built.

I think the car in these photos is a pre production display car.

I like the way the JCW brakes and tailpipes look on that. I want to do something to mine, but kinda want to keep it as original as possible as it's pretty unique.

I wish Mini had included JCW brakes as standard but not in red. But the JCW brakes wont fit inside the Goodwood wheels.

The only change to our Goodwood is a JCW Strut Brace and a stubby anttena

Why won't they fit? I did switch out the wheels to the JCW 18".

The inside diameter of the Goodwood wheels is to small. There a few 17 inch Mini wheels that wont take the JCW Brakes.

I don't find the brakes to be under powered in our Goodwood.
