November starts my ski season. My other crazy sport. How's 55 mph on a pair of skis sound? My car will be winterized by then. Plus it is a bit of a ride for me You can use the time at Roebling to test and tune the new suspension parts. Then it will be ready for next year and maybe meet up at a half way point; VIR maybe?

$23000 estimate and not totaled? What insurance company you role with? You can borrow my car any time you like as long as you smash it the same way and get me that kind of monster check... Nice one slick!

Are ya'll taking about the cover on the turbo? It's discolored because of prior heatings/issues with the downpipe.

Hey Mark, Good luck on the rebuild. Here's hoping you don't find any surprises along the way. That MINI is in capable hands. I am impressed with how cool headed you have been through all of this...I would be a mess!

First, the serious comment: I'm glad you walked away in one piece. I'm sure we all have more confidence in our MINI's survivabilty thanks to this experience.

Second, the snide remark:
I can't believe that no one beat me to the punch when I say:
That'll buff right out!!!

Again, glad you're ok.

Hey, can you post your VIN, so I don't accidentally buy that thing after you fix it? Thanks!
