Laurel sport edition - roll call to 300

Don't be shy, sound off if you have the Laurel Sport Edition Mini. My clubman is on order, and I am attempting to refrain from calling the dealer daily/hourly for updates.

For those of you already fortunate enough to be driving one, what is the reaction to the Laurel so far?

Besides the cool stripes on it, what else is special about it? Some cool interior bits? Some special tuning?

Blasphemy!

It comes with Laurel Edition Aero Kit!

Besides I think the Laurel edition is only on the exterior and not interior, because they all looked very standard on the inside.

Could the difference be the summer vs. the winter package? The shot of the car window sticker above is the summer package.

I own the Laurel sport hard top with winter package. All season run flats with blacked out wheels. It has black mirrors and the white aero kit with matching fender well paint. The clubman is the only Laurel to receive the white mirrors. The hard tops are the only ones to receive the white matching fender well accents. The convert's and Clubman's are black. As far as the interior changes. Only the door sill's are different. It has the Laurel stripe door sill's. To me it has that "track" look to it and certainly turns some heads.
The reaction has been all positive except for the wife's. She's a little jealous having another Mini in the garage next to her's.

Proud owner of a Laurel clubman here, and I absolutely love it.
I also have the winter package and sports package. Funny, my clubman does have black mirrors, and I think it looks better than the white mirrors I've seen in some of the pictures.

I definitely agree, and have received lots of comments, mainly from the other people at work who park at the VERY FAR END of the parking lot .

I just back from the Dragon and everyone loved the looks of the Laurel's. There where 3 Clubmans and 1 hard top. I had gone to the dealer to pick up an Astro Black MCSC that I had order back in February. The Laurel was seating behind it. I made a deal with the dealership and brought it home. Now the wife and I have 2 Pepper White MINI's.

Laurels are the most beautiful Mini's ever! Why are the Clubbie Wheel arches not painted PW? That has to be the biggest mistake ever. Painted wheel arches are so amazing looking compared to black ones.

Me too! The Laurel is a definite head-turner. The hard top was parked next to my Clubman and they looked great side by side. Of course there were so many sweet looking MINIs it was hard to pick a favorite.

It was great to see you both there! I never expected to see the matching "Cincy Mini " parked next to my hard top. Lots of fun and hope to see all who attended next year! Jim

Hey I remember you MiniPug! I was the dark silver clubbie with you (passing through Gatlinberg). There were 3 total Laurels at MOTD. 2 Clubbies and 1 hardtop!

Yep, I remember. It was nice having a Mini escort over the big hill ! Since the traffic made driving a little boring. Ugh....
Melissa (my wife) has a Dark Silver 07 to. When she told me to leave her Mini alone and stop with the Mod's. That is when I shopped for the Laurel. Heh,heh,heh....

Just finished adding some R113's and lower springs to the Laurel. What do you guys think? Wish I had the time to complete this before MOTD.
