Funny as a guy I was reading your post as dress being a noun, not a verb. I was just curious what a MINI dress was. :D

A MINI deserves a mini(skirt)?

Nah I feel kind of the same, I prefer being in a suit so I can pretend I am a spy on an escape mission, or smart casual because even in an area where MINIs are popular, the car draws looks.

I just bought yellow gloves and scarf to match my interchange yellow mini (preparing for winter and a girl loves a reason to shop ). My mom keeps telling me to get a hat to match mini so when I'm driving around with the top down that I corrdinate with the car.

I know exactly what you mean, aw. But I cannot help you in your quest, other than agree with you that I'm also a female and think about the same thing!

I often wish I were wearing "hipper" more fun clothes than my normal work wear. Although I am normally dressing fashion-forward when I'm not at work, my standard work wear seems rather dull for the MINI!

On another note, I just bought a new iPod (my second gen. corrupted finally...I had had it since 2002...) and my first thought was "I need to get the blue one to match my car!" The guy at Best Buy probably thought I was nuts.

I'm not sure it is just a girl thing or not. Since I got my MY Mini I seem to have aquired a number of yellow items of clothing. When my wife goes to a horse show she will bring me something with the event logo on it. Last time both the hat and the fleece shirt were yellow.

Lol I feel the same way. When I bought my mini I felt like I should be dressing in better looking clothes...I usually just wear whatever because at I work I'll get it dirty. I just bought a new fuzzy blue sweater that matches my mini.

I don't worry much about what I were. I still haven't figured out what I'm going to be when I grow up. However, the chances of my ever growing up seem to be getting less and less likely.

I thought, therefore I were.

i guess i never feel that there's a dichotomy between what i'm wearing versus my MINI's style scheme. i'm sure it's partially bcs my car is pretty neutral in color scheme--pepper white w/black roof (& now black custom stripes), plus tuscan leather & english oak. however, i mulled over the outfit i'd wear to take pics with domina the morning after i picked her up. i definitely made sure my ensemble coordinated with her--i was all in brown/black/cream...see my siggy pic (also in my gallery).

no matter whether i'm wearing a bright pink and coral halter maxi dress or silver pailleted tank and jeans or a blue bikini and surf shorts or a black pencil skirt and white shirt, i think my MINI and i are each other's perfect accessory. that may just be plain old vanity on my part, though.

Who says a MINI can't dress up? Our MINI's like to celebrate the holidays with a few dress up accessories. We also coordinate antenna balls and grille badges that we place on the boot. One can never have too much bling....
