S Badge Color Change?

Took delivery of an '09 Chili Red S last week. Love the car, but would like to change the color of the rear "S" badge from red (which pretty much disappears on the red car) to Black. Not the whole "S," but just the red insert.

Anybody done this? Is there an aftermarket "S" badge with a black insert?
I suppose with a small enough paintbrush and a steady enough hand , it could be done. Naaah.

It would look like crap if I painted it.
Thanks to Wolfeee for the recommendations. Aesthetic had just what I was looking for. Good price, too.

Heyyy JF, since it is a small item you should get it rather quickly. I have items made from AC...and have been very pleased! Good luck!

It might take a while to get it since the doming process takes a while but it will look really good once you get it. I have bonnet stripes from him and they took three weeks to get but they look really good.

Are you kidding me? That would be a very simple diy project. A little black enamel and it would look perfect. Less than $2.

Definately a DIY job. Place the S on a scanner, make a copy, cut out the insert. Use it to trace onto the vinyl. Either that or use an artists brush to paint it with black enamel paint.

Maybe for you. But maybe not for others. And for those others, maybe you should reconsider accusing them of being lazy.

Paying someone else to fabricate and install, getting someone else to fabricate and you install, or you fabricate and install yourself all get you to the same place - a YOU-ified MINI. Again, no need to accuse someone of "lazyness" because they choose a different route than you would choose to get to the same result.

Not "lazy," BlckJCWGhst, just not very good with a tiny paintbrush or an exacto knife, but thanks for the warm welcome here.

100% go with aesthetic creations domed decal. Looks great! Adivce: peel off the red sticker on the original (and clean residue off) before applying the decal or you will see little slivers of red behind it.

Here is an AE domed decal that I gave my buddy to put on his CR clubman:

I'm putting the lock on this thread. It has turned into bit of a arguing match, and before it gets any worse I'm going to shut it down. The OP got answers on where to go to change the badge.
