Personally, I don't think running around with painted calipers trying to look like you got a BBK when you don't is "cool" or whatever... but I'm not the owner of the car, so the owner can do whatever they want to it since they paid for it.

However, with that said...
You can get your caliper in whatever color you like.
Brembo charges $200 a pair to get it painted and clearcoated.
So does Stoptech (if they ever came out with a Mini BBK).

With wheels that show the brakes, unpainted OEM calipers look bad, IMO.

The red above is from Carbotech 1521 Bobcat pads.

I love em. If you do paint them...dont screw around...the paint hardens quick. You have about an hour to paint all 4 calipers and then the paint is unusable.
