What should come with a brand new cooper S?

So I've had my car for a couple weeks now and picked it up right from the dealer with only like 40km on it. The salesman was not the greatest and I had to wait for a few days to book a proper pre-purchase cleaning.

So now I'm bumbling through the owners manual quite thoroughly and found that they are supposed to come with 3 keys? I only received two. I also see a note about some other bits and pieces that are supposed to be there like a first aid kit mounted in the trunk. I do not have..

What is SUPPOSED to come with a new cooper S? I'll be some ticked if they've forgotten things on the quick sale they had with me...

Cheers!

You sure that isn't a European or Canadian manual? Never heard of a MINI coming with three keys and a first aid kit.

Mine also came with two key/fobs and no first-aid kit.

Believe the first-aid kit is required in Europe and that a Maximum of three key/fob's can be progamed for one car.

Mine also came with 2 keys and no first aid kit. But I seem to recall the owner's manual mentioning something about a first aid kit - It was probably listed with an asterisk next to it. The asterisk indicated that that the item was only furnished depending on the options that were ordered. As fas the keys go, I also recall that my owner's manual mentioned that the standard keys have a rechargeable battery in each and recommended that after 6 months or so to then use the other key to recharge it's battery. So....that would seem to indicate 2 keys were furnished. But the manual goes on and indicates if you have the convenience option, then that key (the one that you can just keep in your pocket), that has a battery that has to be replaced when it wears out periodically. If that is the third key you are talking about, then that is part of ther convenience option package.

Check to boot for a tool kit as well....a MCS should have a toolkit and jack. Some people seem to get shafted on that one.

Canadian builds are different (US MINI's can't get heated windshield, Sport Button's are not in all Canadian, etc.) and if it says "Three Key's in your Owner's Manual" it's time to complain to your Dealer.

US MINI's (Comfort Access or not) only include two Key/Fobs.

I'm also in Canada. Both my '08 MC and '09 MCS came with just the two keys and no first-aid kit. I think you got what you were supposed to get. If the "third key" you're referring to is the integrated key that's mentioned in the manual, it slides out from each of the two remotes and isn't a separate item.

What else is SUPPOSED to be included? Not much! Manual, warranty/service booklet and radio manual in the glove box. Mats (carpet or rubber). Three cargo nets in the trunk. I think that's it.

Same here, on both my Clubbies (except for the cargo nets...?)
