CA law and cancelling 6 year extended maintenance plan

Just want to confirm with those familiar with California car buying laws, am I allowed 2 days to cancel my 6 year extended maintenance plan?

I was told by the finance guy that it would not cover tires, wheel alignment and battery and EVERYTHING else is included. When I read the fine print, it is not true.

I wrote an email to the car salesman where I bought the car today. I had asked to have the $2280 credited back to my credit card.

Is this the right procedure or do i need to have the finance paper done over again?

thanks everyone for helping a new mini cooper S owner

it is called the BMW maintenance program upgrade.

It is an extension of the 3 year free maintenance plan that mini offers

It is not the extended warranty which is covered for 4 years already

I'm sorry to say you paid almost $1,000 too much.

I would call and cancel it first thing.
or get them to agree to lower it to 1395 or so.

I've cancelled an extended warranty through Chrysler after a year in Northern California and they refunded me the pro-rated amount.
