I just got an e-mail from North Scottsdale MINI where I had an Oil Change done while down in AZ on a Family Emergency.
"According to our records, your COOPER has been recalled by BMW North America. Your BMW's passenger seat mat can fatigue causing the front passenger airbags to be deactivated. In order to remedy this situation, BMW is conducting a Service Action to modify the seat mat to prevent fatigue. This action may require you to leave your vehicle for an overnight stay depending on the length of programming required."
Has anyone else seen this??

Passenger seat mat fatigue? Is that the official wording? I have three University degrees and not a damn clue what that even means. hahahaha I wonder if it was originally written in German then translated for North America!
