Everytime I see anything about AC on NAM, it's always about how long they take. I realize it's a small shop, but the wait time is the only reason I haven't ordered my door handles yet.
Order times are always insane for AC, and its always the same excuse "we were at ____ and got more orders then we expected." Their products are top notch, but if their supply can't meet their demand, then they need to rework their business model.
Delays and long leadtimes for a small shop is understandable. No communication since February on an outstanding order is unacceptable.
In fairness to Hannah and Mike, I HAVE received a couple of emails from them concerning my order and called and spoke with Mike directly concerning my order and their manufacturing lag time. Mike advised he had another person in training and thought he would have my order out in 4-6 weeks. But, that was way over 2 months ago.
About a month ago, Hannah emailed me with choices for the front/rear emblems. I immediately emailed my choice back to her but have heard no other word from them other than the general board message that they were going to attend a Mini gathering and would have a booth set up for installation of their product.
Tends to make me wonder if they were producing for the gathering rather than for current, paid orders.
But, without solid intel from them, it's all speculation....
This is what she said on May 9th......from my understanding i should have gotten them already.
Thanks! You are 35 of 66, and he's getting through about 10-15 orders a week. But the first 20 or so we have most of their orders already done so it may go by a bit faster than expected.
