Gears do not go in all the way... Need alot of force

Hi my MCS is starting to pull some crazy things on me especially with the transmission. It's really difficult to put in the following gears: 2,5,6. Everytime I try I push really hard to get them in and it doesn't sound right or feel right. Many times the gear doesn't go in causing a grinding noise with the clutch... I have plenty of experience with manuals but this has never happened to me.

Sounds like a synchro or fluid level problem. Take it to the dealer. A 2008 should still be under warranty unless you are over the mileage.

You should never need to force it in a gear (this is true of any manual transmission car). Call your dealer or mechanic. Maybe your clutch is shot ?

Thank god I'm not I only have 15000Km. I personally thought about a fluid levels but I didn't think about the synchro. I took the car to the dealer and he shifted the gears without starting the car and he says they feel stiff. He said that he would call me after he looked at the service bulletins. Still haven't heard from him what should I do. He really pissed me off...

Difficulty shifting

Could be a defective pressure plate, sure sounds like what I experienced in my 75 Datsun 280Z recently.
