ASC on/off, how does one know?

Hi Yall!

This is my first post, I haven't had anything to contribute up to now so I've just been lurking in the shadows so-to-speak. I just took delivery of my MY MCS on Saturday and I've been having nothing but a blast ever since. This car is 110% fun, love it! I'm curious about something though and I hope someone out there can help me out. As far as I can tell, the ASC button has no feedback to let you know whether it's active or not. I was expecting a little red light or something on the button to let me know it's off. The sport button on the otherhand doesn't need a little light, the grin on my face is all I need to know that the button is pushed. Am I missing something with the ASC button? How does one know? TIA

Welcome to the board!

Is your car a hardtop or a convertible? I didn't think any of the convertibles had a "sport" button, being first-gen cars.

If you have a hardtop, this post would get better responses in the "Second Generation" forum.

The only time my ASC has gone off is in the snow. A light on either the speedo or tac (can't remember which) lights up when ASC brakes one of the wheels.

I discovered today that if I push and hold the ASC button for a few moments a light turns on on the tac pod. The key here is holding the button down.

It's always on by default, then if you want to turn it off you hold it down for a few seconds.
