No Rolling Resistance??

The other day I kicked my 08 MC into neutral on fairly level road and felt no slowing. I've since done this neutral roll on other terrain and am amazed at how far she'll roll; how slowly she slows.

It's a real game, now. Anyone else notice this lack of rolling resistance?

Yeah, it's pretty crazy. I figure I'm saving fuel, not just being lazy when I just kick it into neutral coming up to a light and coast until I either have to stop or have to pick a gear and go again.

I love not having any resistance! I roll all the time because of it and I'm always amazed when I find myself keeping up with the flow of traffic while coasting in neutral.

Good stuff.

There's a stretch that's just a smidge downhill as I head towards my house. When my R53 was new, I could coast the whole way and hardly lose any speed. Now I noticed it slows down more. Guess the bearings got dirty...

Try rolling after filling up your tank and re-setting your average MPG. You can get the average way up during the first few miles and impress all your friends. Even post a picture on this site and say you got 55 mpg on your last tank full.
