USB Adapter w/ Nano ?no playlists?

Ok Ok I know this subject has been touch before, and yes I took the time to flip through the previous post, but have not had anyone with the same specific issue as I.

I have a 2008 MCS with the bluetooth usb package. It works great except for one MAJOR short coming in my opinion. My nano will only play by artist, album or genre; NO PLAYLISTS! when I hit the "list" button it says "no lists" and the "dir" only shows contact notes calendar and such.

Am I doing something wrong or is this supposed to happened?

I have the current gen nano and playlists work fine, I have nav but I figure playlists should work fine on the regular stereo too. Have you tried playing the playlist first before connecting it to the usb?

yeah, I tried that, then reformatting the ipod, then reducing the playlists down to 5,

I bought a 4 gig usb, and manually made all my folders and that works great but is a pain to update.
