How wide is the opening for the hood scoop grill on the 2nd generation MCS?

I've searched for this but can't find anything so could one of you 2nd gen owners please tell me?

I just measured mine....it's 15 inches across

I was trying to estimate how wide the stripes were on this JCW MINI CHALLENGE car.
By the way, how wide are your stripes?

My stripes are 5 5/8 inches across each stripe.
