Anyone hide wires for a radar detector?

I have a passport 8500 and I want to put it in the upper left hand corner of my windshield. Anyone have thier wires hidden or know how to do it?

I posted this in coupe talk as well because I didnt know where to post it.

It’s easy. Use an “Add a Circuit” in the fuse box on the left side of the dash and run it up the A piller tucked behind the cover. 20 minutes max.

An Alternate Location

I also have an 8500. What I did is mounted it from the rearview mirror using this mount http://www.countryjoycrafts.com/350Z/minimount.htm It is even has a MINI logo. Then I bought the 8 foot cable form escort, and an Add-A-Circuit from an auto shop. I ran the wire from the detector under the headliner (very easy to do), then down the right a pillar (with a small flat head and extra care, easy also). Then I ran it to the the fuse box and added it to the cigarette lighter fuse. Works great. If I ever get motivated, I'll take some pics

'Tis what I did. Works beautifully. Proof that it works (and looks good)...folks get in, I start the MINI, they hear the beep, beep, boop, bop, buzz, beep of the 9500i, and then they say, "wow, didn't even see that up there...how'd you wire that thing?"
