Chrome Grill from R56 MC on a R56 MCS

Does the Chrome grill from a R56 MC fit on the R56 MCS?

I would love to have a Chrome grill and Wish that it was an option like it was back in 2006.

Somebody swapped a chrome MC grill to their PW MCS R56 and posted it here. It was not a direct swap if I remember correctly - fastener holes may not have aligned (remember we're talking two different hoods), and they may have needed to open up more grill area on the chrome unit to match the MCS grill.

Check this thread. I'm planning the same mod:

http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...d.php?t=102774

"Yes it is a stock 07 MC chrome grille. It is not a direct swap as the MC grille has no cooling openings on the top two slats, so I had to open up the grille for better cooling on my MCS. You also have to trim a few tabs to get it to fit and you need to order the bottom chrome piece and slightly modify it to fit."

I sent you a PM.

I'm interested in your grille.

Do you have to replace the top and bottom piece as well? What's the difference between the two? And how did you get the pieces off? They seem to have a wierd way of attaching them. I want to get the headlight trim rings off too. I'm afraid of breaking something.
