Not on this board?!? If I'm not mistaken, the link has a "northamericanmotoring.com" URL in it?

Belle is in the club

Hi -- I guess I missed this thread. I've had Belle for a little over two weeks and my husband and I are still smiling as we motor along. I have some pictures in my gallery. Belle came with wrong wheels. We got them switched for the right ones yesterday. I'll post new pictures in my gallery this weekend.

Early Mar. delivery, 3400 miles, and fun fun. Great color, huh! I'm still thinking of getting stripes, but want to see some before i take the plunge. I did get limousine tint on the sunroof; it was just letting too much light in. I'm thinking of getting the rear and back windows tinted, too.

OK, I have a question...how much difference is there between Electric Blue and Lightening blue? There are no cars around here to compare mine to. From my monitor they dont look that different.

If Electric is more like Hyper Blue, then it's a slightly lighter shade...

It's a noticiable difference. Lightning is a deeper richer blue than Hyper blue imo.

A fellow Canadian expat in California getting a LiB MINI? Where in Canada and California, may I ask? I though about it very fleetingly to add on the maple leaf flag to my roof, but I decided it was a little too flashy for me, right now. It would look pretty good w/ the LiB tho.

I picked mine up on 5/17 and have put 760 miles now. I love it!!!

LiB'erian as well!

Here's my new toy. The LiB is much darker than Electric. Electric is more along the lines of Laser&Hyper.

I like the LiB/W combo because the high contrast makes the car really stand out on the road without looking (hopefully) too much like a ticket magnet.

Around here, the Silvers/PepperWhite/Black combos are really popular, but I find them too grayscale. I wanted color, but not a hurt your eyes in the sun kind of color. My other choice would have been BRG if it weren't metallic (since when is BRG metallic?).

I've put up a new set of pics in my gallery that seem to capture the color.

Got my LiB MCS Stormy about two months ago. I am loving every minute of it. I dont have an updated picture of it yet but it now has a CF hood scoop which really goes well with the black roof and stripes. A few times now I've had people follow me around just to stare at my car. I've never had that happen to me before, a little strange at first but I'm getting used to it.

P.S. Anybody else really loving second gear on the R56 manual MCS?

Belle has the right wheels now

I've updated my gallery with new pictures that have the correct wheels. The dealer spec'd the order wrong, so we replaced the wheels last Friday. I'm very happy with the result. I'm glad I went with white wheels for the look, though it does show the dirt easily -- just makes me get her washed more. My husband just shakes his head -- I've never washed the cars before, but I do wash Belle.

Stripe Pics?

Anyone w/ a LiB/B MCS with stripes? Are you putting stripes down the rear, too? Any stripe pics? Do white smaller border stipes stand out too much? How do I get a thumbnail pic from my gallery in this message?
Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I have attempted adjustment of my monitor. I can see that the Electric blue is a little more on the bright sky blue side than the others!
