I sure hope this is some kind of joke. DAMN that's ugly. Even worse than the photos we've seen so far. If the '07 looks anything like that, it's going to get pretty tough to get on the list for an '06 once those photos start making their way around.

What's with the rear bucket seats, and lack of B pillar? This really looks more like a concept vehicle to me. (Where's Gabe? )

Yeah, keep in mind it's a concept, but I think that we can see the direction that MINI design is headed with the front end, headlights etc...2006 for me!

Better pics here... http://www.autoweek.com/files/specia...i/pages/01.htm

That thing looks horrendous....absolutely terrible.

What's the point of sloping-alien-eyed headlights? What happened to trying to look like the classic which had vertical bug eyes? Our current cars already have a ton of slope to them....why add more?

Change the headlights to the current MINI, simplify the center speedo (don't need to see how much can fit on a center plate) this is not a all-you-can-eat buffet, add woody trim, and I'll buy one after my '06 is a couple of years old.

Guess resale will hold really well on the pre 07 cars, glad I got an 05 because I wouldnt buy that thing. If that was how the mini looked when I ordered mine I would be driving an STI right now.

These are pics of the MINI TRAVELLER CONCEPT ... not the 2007 MINI Cooper or MCS ... although I am sure there will be some common elements. I am liking the interior however.
